The validity of a visa is indicated in the visa grant letter. The letter states the date of grant, the validity, the length you are allowed to stay and whether you are granted single or multiple entries.
You may be allowed to stay for 3, 6 or up to 12 months.
A visa may be granted for single or multiple entries within a certain period. If you are granted multiple entries, you can go back and forth to Australia within the validity of your visa grant.
