You have an edge if your bank account is active for six months or longer.
However, even if your bank account is less than six months old, your visa application will be accepted as long as you submit bank statements or passbook for the last three months.
Your bank certificate should also show that you have sufficient funds for your trip. Some people even get approved for a Korean visa despite not reaching the ideal age for a bank account.
